Your career data is yours.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address, name, and login credentials.
• Career material you provide — resumes and notes you upload or paste, the accomplishment library built from them, and edits you make.
• Job postings you capture — the text and URL of postings you save via the site or the Chrome extension.
• Application profile — optional fields you fill in (LinkedIn URL, website, work-authorization answers, EEO preference) used only to fill application forms on your behalf.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

Only to run the product: building your career library, analyzing job postings, and generating tailored resumes. Your library content and captured postings are sent to our AI provider to do those tasks. They process it to serve your request, and they are not permitted to use it to train their models. Generated files are stored privately and served only to you through expiring links.

The Chrome extension

The extension reads the job posting on the page you're viewing only when you click capture, and sends it to your own account. The form-filler fetches your application profile and fills fields directly in your browser, so that data never passes through the page's employer or any third party. Your settings (app URL and personal token) are stored locally in your browser. The extension collects no analytics and sends nothing anywhere except your own Resume Scaffold account and, for embedded Greenhouse postings, the public Greenhouse job API.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your career material except with the processors above.
• We don't invent facts about you, and we don't let the AI do it either.
• We don't track you across other sites. Cookies are used for login sessions only.

Retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active so your library keeps working. Delete your account and your library, jobs, resumes, and generated files go with it. You can also delete any individual item at any time from the app.
